Fun Fall Break - Day 7

We left Page, AZ early on Monday morning, October 13, and headed back up to the Glen Canyon Dam so the kids could see it in the daylight.

Going through the reservation we just had to stop at the trading post for the kids to see. We visited Cameron, AZ and the Indian Trading post there as well as the dry Little Colorado River and old bridge. The kids were sad they did not see any "real" Indians (like in their official Indian clothes).

We had a wonderful vacation and want to thank cousin Linda as well as Brad, Kimberly and family for allowing us to stay with them. We appreciated the meals, directions, good company and fun times.

An extra special highlight of the trip were the eight Temples we got to see:
Monticello and Mount Timpanogos

Draper and Oquirrh Mountain (both still under construction)
The Oquirrh Mountain Temple can be seen from Kimberly's front porch. It's just a couple blocks away.

Jordan River and Provo

Bountiful

and Salt Lake

Whew! We packed a lot in but enjoyed every minute of our vacation. We want to go back and do all the things we didn't get a chance to and visit all those that we couldn't get to. Maybe next time.

What a great post. You did so much. I think the memories and the time you spent means so much more than going to Disneyland, huh? I also think that picture of you all sitting down at Temple Square should be your family picture this year. It's great.
