We had a visit from cousins who live in Houston. Big Mister’s brother and his family were in town for a few days. I took the kids to the Bingham Canyon Mine which is the world’s largest man-made excavation on earth and the deepest open-pit mine. This mine gets lots and lots of visitors. Even though this is known as a copper mine, they also mine silver and gold.
Visitors park and then ride a bus up the mountain. The kids that that was way cool!
They dig dig dig dig dig dig dig in the mine the
whole day through.

To dig dig dig dig dig dig dig is what they really like to do.
It ain't no trick to get rich quick
If you dig dig dig with a shovel or a drill
In a mine! In a mine! In a mine! In a mine!
Where a million coppers shine! We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig from early morn till night
We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig up everything in sight
We dig up copper by the score
A thousand nuggets, sometimes more
But we don't know what we dig 'em for
We dig dig dig a-dig dig
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, Heigh-hum
A dump truck tire. The dump trucks are the size of a two-story house!
