We love the scenery on the drive from Salt Lake to Manti. It’s beautiful.
Saturday evening we attended the Mormon Miracle Pageant. I haven’t been since attending BYU a long, long time ago. It was nice to go back.
We strolled along the streets of Manti visiting craft boutiques and all kinds of booths with foods and crafts. It was a warm day but cooled off in the evening so much that we needed coats and blankets.
Daddy and Little Miss having fun on the lawn at the temple.
As you sit tonight under a canopy of stars – the beautiful Manti Temple rising before you – reflect on the work of the Lord you see around you. The beauty of the hills directly to your east is much as it was when the Sanpitch Indians used this valley as a summer camp.
In front of you is the work of a dedicated, inventive group of pioneers, who built this magnificent stone temple. As you enjoy this pageant, we ask you to think about the events that have molded your life. It is the hope of the cast and crew that as you learn about our history, you will feel the Spirit of the Lord that guided our ancestors to this valley.
We hope you will leave this pageant with hearts lifted and a new insight into the future.
Wherever you are right now, take a moment to ponder about your life and where/what you want to be in the future.
We had a beautiful evening under the stars and we are so glad we took the opportunity to attend the Mormon Miracle Pageant.
