Give a Day…

Get a Disney Day.

We participated in the “Give a Day.  Get a Disney Day.” sponsored by Disney, of course.  We provided our service on Saturday, March 6 at the Hands on Network, Teachers for Treasures location.

We purchased the supplies for and put together five Teacher Boxes.   We purchased Sterilite shoe size plastic containers and filled them with all kinds of supplies that a teacher would need, including a few surprise snacks.  We were to include a note of appreciation and wrap the box like a gift.    We DO appreciate teachers!

The Hands on Network is hoping to provide a box to every Title I teacher in the State.   

We delivered the gifts last Saturday and made it a family event so the children could take part from start to finish of our “Give a Day”.  We talked a lot about teachers and their need for supplies. 

On Wednesday, we received our free one day Disneyland passes.

Woo Hoo!  Disneyland, here we come.  (Now to pick a date!)
