Before the predator devoured our zucchini plant, we did manage to harvest quite a bit. On a daily search for zucchini I found an overgrown squash that had been missed. It was hidden under two huge zucchini leaves. The smaller zucchini is normal sized. The overgrown zucchini is a good 4" in diamater. It was huge! We sliced, marinated and grilled it and it was really yummy.

Yum!! We used to grow zucchini in Alaska and those mammoth big ones grew quickly up there with all our looooong summer days! It's so yummy fresh out of the garden just sauteed in butter with salt and pepper. Makes me want to go plant some. Too hot now though :(
