Friday Fun

Last Friday we decided to stay in town and find something to do so we didn't have to drive too far. We wanted to try something we had not done before so we decided on Tempe Beach Park. We visited their splash pad and my kids said it was boring. We lasted about 45 minutes. It was really crowded from day care center field trips which made it worse. We won't be going back. But, they still had fun getting wet.
After the splash pad we went to Macayo's Restaurant at the old Train Station in Tempe. We always like to find a Mexican Food place to eat because we eat chips and salsa and order one meal to split three ways. Works great!

After lunch we entertained ourselves by shopping at the Arizona Mills Mall for a couple of hours. I love to go to the Children's Place outlet store there. I always find some awesome deals. Of course, the kids always find some great deals, too! Ha.

We had a fun and relaxing Friday together.
