Birthday Breakfast request: Crepes with Nutella and strawberries
Lunch at school
Dinner: We let the kids choose a favorite place to go out to dinner. Little Mister chose a Mexican food place we have never been but we have heard good things about. We’ll go next week because tonight he has his first football game and they are serving pizza after. We hope it’s good…we have yet to find good Arizona Mexican food!
Dessert: Cookie dough Cupcakes to share with the team.
Gifts: a new iPod case, iPod speakers, a knife from his dad and cash. That’s what the kids want this year….cash so they can get exactly what they want. Easy for us!
Ten fun facts about Little Mister:
1. He’s very sensitive and kind.
2. He’s good with younger children and makes sure they are included.
3. He makes friends very easily.
4. Loves, loves his iPod, games and music. He’s recently gotten into Minecraft and loves to play it with his friends.
5. He loves playing on the Bingham Ute Conference football team. He plays on the Bingham Platinum Team and wears #20. It’s fun for dad, especially, to watch his boy learn football! Go Platinum!!
6. He’s working real hard to become a good lawn mower. All summer long he mowed the lawn while dad was at work. Dad would come home an finish up the harder stuff. But man, did that ever help to have Little Mister mow most of it. Now that he’s back at school, the lawn needs a little attention.
7. He’s got a great singing voice. Loud, too!
8. As with most boys, Little Mister brings all sorts of fun creatures into the house. He makes a home for them in a box with water, dirt, leaves and lettuce, etc. We’ve seen snails (called snaily), grasshoppers and other bugs we don’t know what they are. I always tell them the poor little things will die if they are not in their natural environment. He doesn’t care. He just loves to play with them until they die. Then he feels bad.
9. Little Mister collects rocks from wherever we go. Large rocks…bigger than a baseball size. We have quite a collection going. He even brought most of his collection from Arizona.
10. He loves having has back and tummy scratched and rubbed. It’s a nightly ritual.
And I’ll add one more….I love that Little Mister still loves to cuddle…but only at home (which is just fine!) The couch, recliner, mom’s bed, his bed….he just loves that time. His dad and I will take it as long as we can.
Happy Birthday to our Little Miracle Boy. We sure love you.
