Bird zoo

  “Here ducky, ducky.  Come get some food!”

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Tracy Aviary at Liberty Park in Salt Lake.  (After we had lunch with daddy at Red Iguana).  We didn’t know what to expect, but we were definitely not disappointed.  They have lots more birds than we thought they would have.  Our favorites were the Toucan, Condor and Vulture.

They had a bird show where they brought out several birds and had them eat yucky things like rat.  The best part of the show was when they had an Emu run out.  It was so funny looking in the face that we could not stop laughing.  They say its the 2nd largest bird in the world (only the Ostrich is bigger).

Before my camera battery died, these are the two birds I got photos of…not even sure what they are??

We would definitely recommend the bird zoo!  It was unexpectedly wonderful.
