We finally stumbled upon a Mexican food restaurant here in Salt Lake City that is “almost” as good as the Mexican food we are used to in Arizona.
It is always fun to drive to Salt Lake and pick Daddy up from work and take him out for lunch. Now that work is only about 15 minutes away, we can get there more often when the kids have breaks from school. The Red Iguana Restaurant is close to his work so we thought we’d give this place a try. It’s one of those places that you’d never stop at had it not come recommended. Our expectations were not super high, but this place did not disappoint. It was actually really good.
It’s always crowded on weeknights. In fact, we tried it on a Friday evening in August and the wait was nearly an hour. We left.
The kids voted that this place is on the “keeper” list.
