Picture This....

A 70ish aged woman, fully clothed in jean capris and a red sweater material shirt with watch, earrings, sunglasses, hair done and makeup on. You know what this woman does? She jumps, rather, slowly enters the pool. She began by just getting her feet wet. Before we knew it she was fully in the pool, hair and all. You know who this was? MY MOM!!!! She's so funny. We laughed and laughed and laughed. My kids loved, loved, loved it. She was sopping wet from head to toe....there was no ringing out her clothes. Why did she do it? She just had the urge!

My cousin Sherlyn is visiting us from Texas so we all took an early morning swim. Mom brought Annie over and visited for a while. Before we knew it the above happened. So funny. At least once she got in the pool she stayed in for a while and enjoyed herself. When she got out she mopped herself over to her car and most likely soaked her seat! Knowing my mom, I am sure that within 15 minutes of being home she was showered, clothed, makeup on and hair all done up again. Oh, the memories!
