A Family Gathering

Big Mister had a family reunion on July 24th and 25th. He is the President of the Reunion Committee so we were glad to see the reunion come and go. He is done with his responsibilities now. A new President has taken over and can now carry on the Reunion tradition.

In past years the reunion has always taken place outside of town and usually in a cooler climate. However, we have a large number of the older generation who cannot travel. Therefore, it was decided that the reunion would stay in town. It was nice and low key. A large portion of the family lives in the valley, however, there were a few cousins that joined us from Las Vegas.

Friday evening everyone met at Amazing Jakes for dinner and fun games and rides.

Saturday we had a potluck lunch at a church building. This also included a short business meeting...and lots of visiting.

Saturday evening everyone met at Shepherd Jr. High pool for swimming and ice cream.

That's it. Not too much fuss. The most important thing was just getting together!
